Sandpiper created its own property management company in 2012 because no third-party manager in the economy and midscale space could deliver the combination of guest experience, employee satisfaction and retention, asset preservation, and financial performance that we expected.

SLT’s 30 hotels are managed by Sandpiper Hospitality (“SH”), an affiliated hotel management company. SH also manages 35+ additional hotels for affiliated and non-affiliated third-party owners.

Since 2011, Sandpiper, LLC has sponsored nine successful hospitality-focused investment vehicles, consistently delivering quarterly dividends—even during volatile periods like the COVID-19 pandemic. Our extended-stay hotel strategy thrives because it addresses specific guest needs: mandatory work-related travel, alternatives to traditional housing, and value-driven choices during challenging economic times. This resilience has been a cornerstone of our continued performance and investor satisfaction.

2008

Sandpiper Hospitality, LLC was initially funded in August 2008 and developed four WoodSpring Suites properties.

2015

Sandpiper Hospitality V, LLC was funded in February 2015 to acquire the Asheville, NC WoodSpring Suites and developed two additional WoodSpring Suites properties.

2024

Sandpiper VIII, LLC was created in January 2024 to develop the next 4-10 Wyndham ECHO Suites hotels.
